Energy Audits
GAP Engineering Consulting Group Engineers have performed energy audits all over the world on over 100M ft2 of Commercial Office Buildings, Data Centers, Manufacturing Facilities, Chiller Plants, Boiler Plants, Box Stores, and Hotels finding more than $100M in client savings and more than $1B in Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) projects. ECMs included HVAC equipment, PV and solar thermal, commissioning, building controls, lighting, and boiler upgrades.
Facility Condition Assessments (FCA)
Our Engineering staff has performed FCAs on nearly every type of structure including commercial office buildings, Data Centers, Industrial Plants, Chiller and Boiler Plants, Manufacturing Facilities, and Hotels enabling our clients to extend the life span of the building operating equipment. Aging facilities pose huge challenges for facilities managers responsible for dependable facility operation that meets their customers’ demands. Over time, facilities need to repair, upgrade or replace their equipment to meet various goals including operating uptime, service-level, quality, and production goals. Our Engineering staff experience ranges from commercial office building HVAC and controls design to advanced cryogenic systems design at NASA Facilities. Our Engineering Design Staff have more than 25 years of design experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering for various facilities. Commissioning Services
With today’s facilities becoming more technically advanced than ever before, the pressures put on a building’s mechanical, electrical, life safety and telecommunications systems to perform at high levels has created an increased demand for commissioning services. We treat MEP commissioning as a systematic process for ensuring a facility's systems are functioning as designed. This includes design review, installation verification, proper system startups, functional performance tests, operations and maintenance training, and thorough documentation.
Owner’s Project Representatives (OPR) Services
As experienced Project Facilitators (OPR) GAP Engineering Consulting Group offers the technical expertise and project experience to ensure successful project outcomes. Private Provider Inspection Services
Many government compliance departments at all levels (national, state, and municipal) allow the use of “private providers” for well-defined plans review and inspection services. GAP Engineering Consulting Group offers building code compliance (structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and accessibility components of the building) that meets the requirements in place, including licensed engineers. As Private Provider we provide a certificate of compliance and a request for a certificate of occupancy to the local building official or agency.
