Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast
Level II ASHRAE Energy Audits at 26 Naval Bases
Working with Sain Engineering Associates (SEA), GAP Engineering Consulting Group Leadership led the teams performing Energy Audits (EA) at all the Naval Bases along the Gulf Coast: NAS Jax, NS Mayport, NS Kings Bay, NAS Pensacola, NAS Whiting Field, NAS Corpus Christi and NAS Kingsville. These Energy Audits provided over $77M worth of Energy Savings and were the precursors to performance contracts performed by Ameresco, ESG and Johnson Controls.

Level III ASHRAE Energy Audits and Project Development
Working with Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), GAP Engineering Consulting Group Leadership provided Project Development and Project Engineering Services for a bundled ESPC for NSA Naples, NAS Sigonella, and NS Rota worth over $88M.

Tenant Improvement Renovation
The commissioning of the DCMA tenant improvement project occurred in parallel with another Federal agency tenant improvement, including several floors of this multi-tenant Birmingham, AL. commercial office building. Scope of work included the HVAC and Controls systems, the Domestic Water Heating system, and the Lighting and Lighting Controls systems. GAP/NAI staff served as the Commissioning Authority (CxA) for these two federal agency tenant improvement projects.

The commissioning of the IRS tenant improvement project, in conjunction with another Federal agency project, included multiple floors of this multi-tenant commercial office building in Birmingham, AL. Systems included were the HVAC and Controls systems, the Domestic Water Heating system, and the Lighting and Lighting Controls systems. GAP/NAI staff served as the Commissioning Authority (CxA) for this federal agency tenant improvement project.
NS Guantanamo Bay ESPC
Level III ASHRAE Energy Audits and Project Development
Working with Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), GAP Engineering Consulting Group Leadership led the team that wrote the winning RFP response for an $829M ESPC awarded in 2019. GAP Engineering Consulting Group Leadership provided Project Engineering Services during the Preliminary Analysis (PA) phase.

Level II ASHRAE Energy Audits at European and Middle East Naval Bases
ROTA, Spain Redesign of the Environmental Control System (ECS). Working with Sain Engineering Associates (SEA), GAP Engineering Consulting Group Leadership led the teams performing Energy Audits (EA) for NS Rota (Spain), NAS Sigonella (Sicily), NSA Naples (Italy), NSA Souda Bay (Greece) and NSA Bahrain. These Energy Audits provided over $200M worth over Energy Savings and were the precursors to performance contracts performed by Ameresco, ESG and Johnson Controls. These Energy Audits provided over $127M worth of Energy Savings Projects and were the precursors to performance contracts performed by Siemens.

Performed COVID-19 Assessments
Through an agreement with TEPA and Tehama ECS, the GAP Engineering Consulting Group Engineering and Project Management Staff performed COVID-19 assessments at Native American Schools throughout the Great Plains, Eastern Region and the Southeast US. Our Engineering Staff provided individual and detailed reports with recommendations on how to mitigate the risk of COVID 19 spread in Schools, Dorms and Administrative Buildings of different structure types and HVAC Systems.
